Here in Santa Clara County, there are literally thousands of people in hospitals and convalescent facilities who are in need of the love, friendship, and touch that we can minister through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  These people are waiting to share part of their lives with you, and some are literally "dying" from loneliness.  This ministry is our opportunity to share our lives with them.

Family Community Church's Lay Chaplain's Ministry provides regular visits to local convalescent homes as well as hospital visits per request.  In order to serve as a lay chaplain, a 9 week training course is required.  Training course is provided once a year and the next session begins February 27.
