Worship and Graphic Arts
My name is Scott Fischer, and I work in all sorts of departments here at FCC. I lead the worship for the Saturday Night Service. I'm also in charge of service branding, graphic design, motion graphics, video scoring, and web development. I work closely with the pastors on staff to make sure God's message gets across in a visual way. Having stuff look cool is always nice, but it's much more important that His Word is communicated clearly and in a way that will be remembered.
I graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo in 2002 with a B.S. in Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration. I then went to Ex'pression Center for New Media and graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in the Digital Visual Arts. Since my school days ended, I've had the pleasure of being able serve God using the skills He gave me and the abilities He's given me the chance to learn along the way. There's nothing better than doing what you love and glorifying God at the same time!
I married my beautiful wife, Charice, in 2006. Our son, Baxter, is the light of our lives. I have the most amazing family in the world and get to work with equally amazing people on a daily basis at FCC. You may see me on a Saturday night, playing bass sometimes on a Sunday morning, or taking pictures around the church for the website. Be sure and say hi!
"Do not be anxious for anything. But in everything, through prayer and petition, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
